From Barreiro to Terreiro do Paço was a documentary photography project focusing on the boat travellings between Lisboa and Barreiro.

This project was made as an assignment during my studies at Ar.Co. It was very hard at the beginning because I was shy, but my photo teacher, José Soudo, helped me to conquer my fears.

I'm proud of this project because every time I see it I remember how it used to be. This boats had their magic and black and white film captures it very well. I also spent countless hours printing this negatives in the darkroom.
